✔ Always dry clean heavy outfits, especially those with embroidery, zari, or delicate fabrics.
✔ Avoid frequent washing — these garments are not meant for regular laundering.
✔ Keep away from perfume sprays, deodorants, and hairspray directly on the garment; chemicals may tarnish zari and stones.

✔ Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
✔ Use muslin or malmal cloth bags instead of plastic covers — fabric can breathe and avoids moisture buildup.
✔ For heavy flared lehengas, store flat or fold with butter paper between the embroidery.
✔ Hang sarees on padded hangers or roll them instead of folding to prevent creases.
✔ For pure zari or Kanjivaram sarees, refold every 3–4 months to avoid permanent crease lines.

✔ Keep away from sharp jewelry to avoid thread pulls.
✔ Do not iron directly on embroidery — use steam or press with a thick cotton cloth covering.
✔ Avoid friction with seats, car belts, rough surfaces.

✔ Let it air dry naturally in shade.
✘ Do not use a hair dryer or direct sunlight.
✔ Check for any tarnish or rust marks on zari.

✘ Do not wash in a washing machine.
✘ Do not store in plastic or damp areas.
✘ Do not fold velvet or tissue fabric too tightly.
✘ Avoid hanging very heavy lehengas for long periods (may stretch the fabric).

✔ Use garment bags and include silica gel pouches to prevent moisture.
✔ Roll sarees instead of folding for travel.
✔ Carry a small fabric glue or needle kit for emergency fixes of stones or sequins.
